The installation of this dining room involved a central cross pattern with a diagonal inlay. The Brazilian cherry hardwood was dark-stained and finished with a satin sheen commercial Traffic™ finish.

This installation involved the complete set of stairs, including the treads, risers and stringers. The 2 ¼", #1 common red oak was stained with a medium-brown Bona® stain and finished with a satin sheen water-based finish.

The kitchen in this photo was accented with a natural maple border, highlighting the outline of the pillars and cabinets. The remaining floor was filled with Brazilian cherry hardwood. After a dark stain was applied, the floor was finished with three coats of commercial Traffic™ finish.

Almost 2,000 square feet of 2 ¼" Brazilian cherry hardwood were installed in this home. The floor was then stained with a dark stain in an effort to mimic the appearance of walnut and then finished with three coats of satin sheen commercial water-based Traffic™ finish.

The unique alignment of the living room with the stairs resulted in a diagonal installation of the light-stained select red oak.

The existing blue-stained kitchen/nook area was re-sanded and finished with a dark stain followed by 2 coats of Bona Traffic finish. A final coat of Traffic, along with finishing touch-ups and the removal of tape, completed the project.

Artwood Floors supplied the 2 ¼" select red oak to match the existing hardwood. The oak was feathered in to the existing floor to allow for a seamless transition to the new hardwood.

During the installation process, flushmount vents were added to this floor. As an accent, a maple border was also installed around the fireplace. The remainder of the floor was installed at a diagonal with 2 ¼" select red oak. After the initial sanding process, the floor was flood filled with a trowel.

Although not yet coated, this floor displays a natural maple border framing the fireplace which contrasts the dark-stained select red oak.

2 ¼" Brazilian cherry was installed throughout the living and dining room areas in this home. The floor shows off the natural Brazilian cherry colouring finished with three coats of water-based finish.
